So we could communicate rather well. The husband Mohamed is fromTunesia and could not speak any German nor English. He was very kind and tried to invite us to dinner. I declined but he insisted us to drive us to the nearest metro station. We ended up driving with both of them to the metro station and the daughter called. It was very sweet and it seems that the couple was excited and proud to have us and help us.
It can be very good to ask questions when unsure. Especially when abroad.
