The day began slow. We went to the mall to fix something regarding the sim card. After that we went shopping.

Schnucks supermarket

The houses really look good and all have some ornament. In Germany the buildings of a supermarket would be boring and square. There are so many options to choose from in the supermarket no matter what category.

We went to the Broadway Oyster Bar and listened to music. There was no entrance fee.

After that we explored the city. We wanted to see the largest arch in which you can still walk inside in the world.

weird steaming gutters in 34°C

On the streets there are almost with no exception american cars. You can see some Porsche, Audi or BMW but ofcourse only the big cars.

Arch from further away

The Gateway Arch was built in 1947 and is 192m in height. that is impressive.

We went back and to BB’s Jazz, Blues and Soup. We had some unhealthy fastfood and listened to the music.

There was a good band playing but it is so hard to capture the vibe. The band was very good and seemed professional. The entrance fee was 15$.

THC cocktails but no guns

BB’s Jazz Blues Soups

The band in the BB’s Jazz and Blues have one on the hammond one saxophone and a drummer and bass.

They would play something around those lines.

The young people would go into the Honky Tonk that was next to it. There were no black people. “They don’t like the music”.

The Honky Tonk

I’ve met some nice people there.
