We went east.

First stop was Gooseneck bend. It was super hot.

You might know the film Forrest Gump film. Here is a scene they used in the film.

What you can see in the picture above is the Monument Valley. It is very beautiful and there are huge ā€œMesasā€ in the middle of the desert

It rained heavily when we got there.

But eventually the rain died down and it got sunnier.

The left Mesa was huge and beautiful.

the car got dusty and dirty on the inside

The next image is very interesting to me.

panorama

I took three separate images from different angles. It was not my intention to create a panorama. This images got stitched together by google photos and got recommended to me without me asking to. I find it amazing and scary what is possible today. Be it that pictures can be automatically rotated or faces can be detected and so much moreā€¦

The day before there were some intricate patterns in the mountains and finer detailed structures. On this day there were only huge unfathomable big rocks to be seen.

some smaller pillars

There was a fight this day. After staying several days close together it happens I guess.
The usual who said what bla bla Nonsens. One person did say some hard things in my opinion. I honestly donā€™t get the cause. Anyways one should not be daunted by the arguments of others.
ā€Such is lifeā€

The people who fight make up problems and they donā€™t see the solutions for them.
For the one who does not fight but tries to be objective the solution is obvious.

I hope that in my future I can make solutions without problems.
Be it as an engineer or as a human being.
I believe the most important thing to prevent an argument is speaking tranquil and with respect to and with the other person. Trying to find the truth in the maze of emotions.

In the end it is not taken for granted that you can forgive another person that said something conflicting in a state of confusion.

talking with a nice view

I wanted to walk around one big monument also called Mesa. I ended up walking with my parents. My sister and her boyfriend did not accompany us on the walk.

We walked around the Mesa you can see in front of us. With this walk I began to respect the real size of the Mesas.

My father turned back after a short while. It was longer than anticipated. We were lucky there was no sun so it was rather cool.

The path around the Mesa is not directly next to the Mesa. On the foot of the Mesa the water dug deep trenches over time. It is more exhausting to walk on a path right on the foot of the mesas. The path cycled around the mesa several hundred meters away from the mesa.

Still the path had a lot of slopes and was very tiring. I did not expect that.

no direct sunlight to cover up for

The vegetation was dire. Not a lot of shady spots and not a lot of animals seem to live here.
